With "30 Rock" headed into its final season, Emmys nominee Tina Fey has a new goal: Make the fans weep.
Since the show's already covered plenty of zany plots, as Fey told E!'s Ryan Seacrest on the Emmys red carpet Sunday, she just wants to make sure the last season is "satisfying to people who actually care about the characters."
Maybe her character, Liz Lemon, "will get a baby, and maybe she’ll get married, I don’t know," Fey said, jokingly adding, "our goal is to make people cry."
So far they've had guest stars like Olympic champ Ryan Lochte stop by for a cameo, and Fey revealed that Lochte was "really funny ... He played a sex idiot. He’s good at it."
Fey was decked out in Vivienne Westwood on the Emmys red carpet, for what she said could be her last time at the ceremony.
"I may never be here again," she told Seacrest. "So I’m going to steal a bunch of stuff."
